The Los Angeles Symphony (LAJS) is a distinguished ensemble dedicated to celebrating Jewish culture, heritage, and experience through orchestral music. Founded in 1994 by Dr. Noreen Green, LAJS centers its mission on performing works that bridge diverse communities, commission new pieces, and engage audiences through education and collaborations. Located in Los Angeles, the orchestra regularly programs Jewish-themed orchestral works, premieres commissioned scores, and partners with educational initiatives such as Patchwork of Cultures to bring music to a wide audience.
