MAESA emerged as a distinctive voice in the electronic and cinematic music scene, anchored by a strong foundation in collaborative performance. In 2020, MAESA released the debut album Death of the Machine on Electrosound Records, a collection that showcases intricate production, moody atmospheres, and melodic storytelling. Beyond the album, MAESA has contributed to original soundtracks, including Indigo Valley (2019, Gold Eagle Entertainment), Under the Lantern Lit Sky (2021, Cinema Hotel), and Highway One (2022, Gold Eagle Entertainment). These projects highlight MAESA’s versatility across indie film and soundtrack work.
As a community-driven artist, MAESA founded The Band of Singers, a non-traditional choir that emphasizes collective creativity and inclusivity. The Band of Singers has hosted workshops and performances, with activities continuing into 2025, including a Band of Singers workshop in Los Angeles on September 14, 2025. This leadership role reflects MAESA’s commitment to collaborative artistry and live engagement with audiences.
MAESA’s work extends to standalone releases and collaborations, such as the 2024 single Vete Pa La Pinga and the 2022 single Glory Be, which contributed to the Terror on the Prairie soundtrack. The artist has also earned recognition from industry peers, including Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominations in 2019 for Best Original Score – Independent Film and Best Original Song – Independent Film, underscoring MAESA’s impact on music for film and media.
