Making Treaty 7: Kaahsinnoniks - Our Ancestors Tickets

Kaahsinnoniks — Our Ancestors is a groundbreaking multidisciplinary theatre piece from the Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society (2018). Led by MT7 Artistic Director Justin Many Fingers, this production blends dance, theatre, music, and poetry under the guidance of Treaty 7 Elders. The show explores lineage and remembrance through the Blackfoot term Kaahsinnoniks, broadly interpreted as 'ancestor' with deep ancestral connections. Premiering October 3–4, 2018 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, AB, the work has contributed to Truth and Reconciliation conversations through performance and collaboration.
