This compelling, one-man theatre piece uses age-prosthetic makeup, period costume, and vivid storytelling to bring Mark Twain to life on stage. Parker Drew, a seasoned performer and musician, grew up in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, trained in clarinet and drums, and began this signature piece in 1969. Over the decades, Drew has delivered more than 500 performances across 37 states plus the US Virgin Islands, with PBS documenting the work in two specials. The show blends narrative with musical elements, reflecting Twain’s wit and insights while delivering a unique, intimate performance space for every audience.
