The Small Choral Ensembles at Maryville College consist of three distinct groups: Off Kilter (SATB), The Lads (TTBB), and The Lassies (SSAA). Under the direction of Stacey Murphy Wilner (Off Kilter and Lassies) and Dr. Jennifer Anderson (The Lads), these choirs specialize in intimate, chamber-style singing. Their activities include campus appearances, community events, and collaborative performances with visiting artists after hosting master classes with renowned groups like Cantus and The King’s Singers’ Paul Phoenix. The 2025 season includes the Small Choral Ensembles Concert on October 21, 2025 at the Clayton Center for the Arts, with guest MC Youth Choirs (Scottie Singers and Highlander Chorale).
