Mauvais Sang is a Genève-area group formed in 2016, a transnational duo with members based in London, Paris, and Genève. Their sound sits at the crossroads of noise-pop and post-punk, weaving harps and violin into textures that blend rock, chanson française, and experimental ambience. Over the years, they’ve built a distinctive voice that’s both intimate and expansive, rooted in European indie scenes and language-rich storytelling.

Born from a collaborative energy across borders, Mauvais Sang channels a kinetic live presence and a studio approach that embraces contrasts: delicate strings against abrasive guitars, poetic French lyrics against electric pulses, and intimate vocal delivery alongside expansive sonic sculpting.

Key milestones include a notable collaboration with Denis Lavant on Des Corps dans le Décor, and a string of live appearances such as Montjoux Festival 2023. Their 2024–2025 releases expand their catalog: the EP La Flore (November 22, 2024) as the first part of a two-part diptych leading to the 2025 album La Faune. The duo is currently releasing through Daaganda Records (La Faune) and December Square (Des Corps dans le Décor). Fans can expect a 2025 tour highlighting intimate venues and cross-continental exposure, including a confirmed July 11, 2025 show at La Dame de Canton in Paris, co-billed with La Billy.
