Maxim Vengerov is one of the most acclaimed violinists of his generation, known for his expressive tone, technical mastery, and engaging musical storytelling. Born August 20, 1974 in Novosibirsk, Russia, he is now an Israeli citizen and a resident of Monaco. He rose to international prominence through a combination of concert performances, recordings, and his influence as a conductor and festival leader. Vengerov has served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 1997, championing children's education and access to music across the globe. His artistry has earned him a Grammy Award (Best Instrumental Soloist Performance with Orchestra, 2004) and the World Economic Forum Crystal Award (2007) for using art to improve the state of the world.
