What surrounds the action
McGill Redmen Football, rooted in Montreal's sports heritage since 1874, is one of Canada's oldest and most storied collegiate programs. From early rivalries to a 1987 Vanier Cup championship, the team has a rich history that continues to inspire fans across Quebec and beyond. In 2020, the program transitioned from the Redmen name to McGill Redbirds, a change announced in 2019 and officially adopted on November 17, 2020. Home games are proudly played at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Montreal, a historic venue that hosts passionate football weekends and school pride.
