Memphis Songwriter's Association Tickets

The Memphis Songwriter's Association (MSA) is a community-forward organization dedicated to educating and advancing local songwriters. Founded in 1973 by Estelle Axton, co-founder of Stax Records, MSA centers its work on three pillars: community, resources, and opportunity for its members. Celebrating a rich history and a forward-looking mission, MSA continues to connect musicians with learning, collaboration, and performance opportunities in Memphis and beyond.

Upcoming events feature the annual Songwriter Showdown, with the 2025 final held on April 17, 2025, at Lafayette’s Music Room in Memphis. The competition ran February 3–March 14, 2025, with eight finalists announced on April 4, 2025.
