Michal Szpak (born 1990) emerged as a leading figure in Polish pop and contemporary music after his standout performance at Eurovision 2016, where his rendition of Color of Your Life showcased a powerful, expressive voice and a captivating stage presence. His national career accelerated with multiple high-profile appearances, including wins at the Opole Festival and recognition as a SuperArtysta (Super Artist) during 2015–2016, establishing him as one of Poland’s most recognized voices of his generation.
Szpak has released three studio albums to date. Nadwiślański mrok (2023) marks his third album, released by Warner Music Poland. Prior releases include Dreamer (2018, Sony Music Poland) and Byle być sobą (2015, Sony Music Poland), with Byle być sobą reaching the top of the Polish Albums Chart (OLiS) and earning double platinum status in Poland. Dreamer debuted at #1 on OLIS and achieved Gold status, signaling strong commercial success in his home market.
In addition to recording, Szpak has maintained a visible TV presence as a coach/judge on The Voice of Poland since 2018, helping to shape the next generation of Polish vocal talent.
