The Mile High Music Festival stood as Colorado's iconic two-day festival experience from 2008 through its final run in 2010. Promoted by AEG Live Rocky Mountain Region, the event drew roughly 40,000 attendees per day at its peak, turning Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City into a music-lover's playground each summer. Originally planned for City Park in Denver, concerns from the Denver Zoo led organizers to relocate to the stadium venue, where fans could enjoy a stacked lineup under the Colorado sun.
