Born in 2020 as an 8-piece ensemble, Minnesota Jazz Chamber Orchestra has evolved into a vibrant 16-piece big band with a dedicated chamber division for collaborations. The group blends true classic swing with a wide repertoire that spans Swing (West/East Coast, Lindy), Latin, Blues Swing, Ballads, and even Polkas. They regularly headline at iconic venues like the Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul and contribute to the Twin Cities jazz scene via KBEM Radio 88.5 FM.

Since 2021, the ensemble has welcomed vocalists to its collaborations, expanding the texture and storytelling of their performances. In 2024–2025, they’ve staged Holiday Shows with vocalist Courtney Burton and Rat Pack Revue–style performances, delivering polished, fun, and accessible live jazz experiences for audiences across Minnesota.
