The Mississauga Children's Choir (MCC) has been shaping young voices since 1980. Founded by Adria Trowhill and Elizabeth Powers, MCC is a registered charitable organization (No. 133889519RR0001) that fosters musical growth, performance experience, and community engagement for children and teens through a structured ensemble program. MCC operates as a trusted resource for families in the Greater Toronto Area who value accessible, high-quality choral training.

With a clear mission to nurture musical excellence and confidence, MCC offers four age-appropriate ensembles: Cantiamo (ages 4–5), Training Choir (ages 6–8), Junior Choir (ages 9–12), and Senior Choir (ages 13–18). Each group provides progressive repertoire, performance opportunities, and a supportive environment that helps young singers develop strong vocal technique and stage presence.

MCC’s track record includes notable awards such as Best Stage Performance at the 1984 Mississauga Rainbow Festival, the 2005 Mississauga Arts Council Established Performing Arts Award, and first place in the Children’s Category at the 2010 ACCC National Competition. In 2023, MCC received the Hazel McCallion Grant for Arts, Culture & Heritage via the Mississauga Foundation, underscoring its value to the community.
