Modern Day Escape formed in Orlando, Florida in 2006 and has carved a distinct path through rock and melodic alternative scenes. After an active period from 2006 to 2014, the group revived around 2020 and has continued making music with a fresh energy. Their early breakthrough came when they signed with StandBy Records in 2009, leading to the release of the debut album House of Rats (2009/2011) through StandBy/Victory. Known for high-energy live performances and notable touring moments, they supported Black Veil Brides on The Sacred Ceremony Tour (2010) and joined the Under The Gun tour (2012), expanding their footprint across the U.S. Their work earned recognition from AMP magazine as part of the 21 Young Gun Salute in 2009, with tracks featured on television programs including MTV, E!, and Oxygen. In recent years, Modern Day Escape has released anniversary and collaboration projects such as Under The Gun (10 Year Anniversary Instrumental) in 2022 and Bury The Wolf featuring Travis Miguel in 2023, along with synthwave and 8-bit variant explorations.
