Mold! is a dynamic indie-noise duo formed by Carlo Barbacci and Bronto Montano, two musicians who emigrated from Peru to the United States and found their voice in Miami’s vibrant underground scene. Known for a heavy, melodic approach to noise-rock and bilingual lyrics, Mold! blends immigrant experiences with muscular guitar textures, creating a sound that’s both intimate and expansive. Their work has earned critical attention and a dedicated following as they tour nationally and internationally.

Rooted in Miami’s indie/psych-noise orbit, Mold! quickly established a foothold with the release No Silence! in 2021, a record that helped crystallize their immigrant-themed aesthetic and earned the Miami New Times Best Emerging Act honor for 2021. Their self-titled album, Mold! (released September 9, 2023), further defined their approach with heavier tones and memorable melodies. In 2025, they released Amarillo and III (on Community Records), signaling ongoing growth and a broader, bilingual lyric palette that resonates with fans across continents.
