Biographically, Morbikon blends the experience of American metal veterans with European sensibilities, resulting in a sound that sits between brutal doom and technical extreme metal. Their debut album Ov Mournful Twilight (Tankcrimes, 2022) features standout tracks like Universal Funeral, Cursed to March on Shattered Limbs, and Deaththirst. Their sophomore effort, Lost Within The Astral Crypts, arrived on Tankcrimes on November 21, 2025, with Lillmåns contributing again and Pierce Williams handling new drumming duties. 2025 saw singles such as Heavens That Burn And Eons Divided (Sept 29) and Ghoul Infested Mausoleum (Oct 27), plus a Decibel Flexi single Gaping Grave Awaits, highlighting the band’s growing recognition.
