The Moscow City Symphony is the official government-backed orchestra of Moscow, founded in 2000 by the Moscow City Government. As the resident ensemble at the Moscow International House of Music (MIM), they bring a versatile program that spans classical masterworks, contemporary pieces, and crossover works that push the boundaries of orchestral performance. Since 2018, Fabio Mastrangelo has served as Chief Conductor, guiding a dynamic repertoire and ambitious multimedia productions that have earned accolades, including the Moscow Government Prize for the Carmina Burana production featuring immersive visuals.
