Welcome to the Nassau-Suffolk Youth, Honor & Alumni Band Concert page. Since 1994, this Long Island-based program has provided rehearsal and performance opportunities for student musicians, building a vibrant community across Nassau and Suffolk counties. The Youth Band (founded 2009) and the Nassau-Suffolk Youth Jazz Band (founded 2016) expand the program's reach, offering ensembles that nurture young talent through collaborative performance experiences. The Honor Band has commissioned notable works and regularly showcases student virtuosity on prominent stages.

Highlights include commissioned works like The Fives Prevail! by Richard Saucedo (2012) and For Ella by Randall D. Standridge (commissioned 2020, premiered virtually 2021). The Honor Band and NSBA were honored with a performance at the National Association for Music Education Eastern Division Conference in Atlantic City in 2017. The 2025 season features a Winter Concert at Madison Theatre, Molloy University (January 26), a February 10 showcase at the Tilles Center, and a Spring Concert at Madison Theatre (May 4).
