The National Children's Symphony of Venezuela (NCSV) is a flagship youth ensemble that traces its roots to the groundbreaking El Sistema program founded by José Antonio Abreu in 1995. Open to young musicians typically aged 8–16 (with some sources noting up to 17), NCSV has grown into a formidable fifth-generation ensemble now comprising around 170 musicians. Directed by Andrés David Ascanio Abreu, NCSV continues the mission of turning music education into a catalyst for social change. The group has earned international recognition through high-profile tours and collaborations with some of the world’s leading conductors and venues.
