The National Miss You Can Do It Pageant, founded in 2004 by Abbey Curran—Miss Iowa USA 2008—exists to celebrate girls and women with disabilities on a national stage. What started as a pioneering nonprofit has grown into a beacon for inclusion, resilience, and empowerment. The pageant received broad media attention and was featured in the HBO documentary Miss You Can Do It (2013), bringing visibility to the stories of participants and organizers alike. In addition to its mission-driven events, the organization maintains an active online presence through its official site and social channels, helping supporters connect with opportunities, resources, and event information.
