Founded in 1965 by Bill Ashton as the London Schools Jazz Orchestra, NYJO has grown into a nationally celebrated ensemble based in London. The group rehearses every Saturday and delivers around 40 gigs annually across the UK, often pairing performances with educational workshops designed to inspire the next generation of jazz musicians.
