About the performer: Herminio de Jesús is a Cayey, Puerto Rico native born on March 15, 1947. A prolific composer with more than 200 Navidad songs, his career spans parrandas, salsa, plena, and aguinaldos. He’s been recognized in the Puerto Rico Musicians’ Hall of Fame network and has earned honors such as Orgullo Boricua (2013) from WAPA TV. His influential works include El Ña, Asómate al Balcón, and El Coquí. In 2024, he staged a notable Navidades show in Santurce, continuing his long-standing tradition of Christmas celebration.
