The Nervous Eaters formed in Boston in the mid-1970s and became one of the city’s first punk/garage acts. With early lineups led by Steve Cataldo (vocals/guitar), Robb Skeen (bass), and Jeff Wilkinson (drums), they helped shape the scene around the storied Rat venue, sharing bills with legendary acts like The Police, Blondie, and The Ramones. Their raw energy blended rock & roll, R&B-influenced pop, and underground grit, setting a template for future generations of American punk and power-pop.
