New World School of the Arts (NWSA) is a distinguished Miami-based performer program rooted in a strong educational partnership between Miami Dade College (MDC), MDC College, and the University of Florida. Since its inception in 1987, NWSA has built a reputation as a Florida center of excellence in the visual and performing arts, offering comprehensive training across divisions including Visual Arts, Dance, Theatre (with musical theatre), and Music (instrumental and vocal).

Designated a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1993 and recognized by Magnet Schools of America as a Demonstration School with National Certification, NWSA has helped shape artists who go on to inspire audiences nationwide.
