The New York Circus Project is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to producing contemporary circus in New York City and beyond. Founded by Sam Landa and Emma Owens, NYCP represents a new kind of circus that blends theater and spectacle to tell intimate, powerful stories. Based in the cultural hub of New York, NYCP extends its reach nationally and internationally, inviting audiences to experience circus as theatre at its core.

Key recent and upcoming milestones include the national tour of HAMLET in 2024, with engagements in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Chicago, followed by an international debut at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where HAMLET received wide critical attention and a Fringe Theatre Award. The 2025 Edinburgh Fringe performances took place at Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh from July 15–24, 2025. In addition, NYCP’s 75-minute punk-circus production, Liquid, was staged in 2025 at Union Market (DC) and covered by DC Theater Arts.
