Founded in 1948 by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, NYCB has helped shape modern ballet with a focus on athletic technique, musicality, and a dynamic repertory. Based at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in Manhattan, NYCB also maintains a vibrant summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs, NY.
