The New York Renaissance Faire, established in 1978 by Barbara Hope and Donald Gaiti, is a beloved theater and festival experience located at 600 NY-17A, Tuxedo Park, NY 10987, inside the Sterling Forest. Spanning roughly 65 acres, this gathering brings together 20 stages and 100+ shops, creating a vibrant setting for musicians, acrobats, street performers, full jousts, and immersive entertainment. The faire operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday, typically from August through October, with the 2025 schedule running August 16 through October 5. It’s earned regional recognition as the #1 Renaissance Faire in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
