Born in 1983, the program celebrated a storied run as NCAA Division II National Champions in 2016 under head coach Ashley Cozart, finishing the season 60-7. Since moving to NCAA Division I and joining the ASUN Conference, UNA has continued to build on that championship heritage, delivering strong seasons and a growing fan base at home in the upgraded facilities at Hilda B.
