The Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic (NEPA Philharmonic) is the region’s professional symphony, bringing together Scranton and Wilkes-Barre for a season of classical masterworks, pops, chamber music, and immersive film-concert experiences. Founded as the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic in the 1970s, the ensemble now operates under the NEPA Philharmonic banner, continuing a two-city tradition with a modern, community-driven approach. Led by Music Director Mélisse Brunet, whose contract extends through 2029, NEPA Philharmonic offers a diverse slate of concerts across multiple venues in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
