The Northern Illinois University Marching Band, affectionately known as The Pride of the Midwest, is a cornerstone of NIU’s School of Music. Founded in 1899, this storied ensemble brings energy and precision to every performance, from NIU home football games to select away games and post-season bowl appearances.
