Founded in 1908, the Bearcats have built a rich football tradition anchored at Bearcat Stadium in Maryville, Missouri, with a capacity of approximately 6,500. The program has claimed six national championships (1998, 1999, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2016) and 31 conference titles in the MIAA. Under legendary coaches like Mel Tjeerdsma (1994–2010) and Adam Dorrel (2011–2016), the Bearcats established a culture of excellence. In 2025, John McMenamin takes the field as head coach, guiding a competitive squad through a robust schedule that features five home games at Bearcat Stadium.
