The Ocala Symphony Orchestra (OSO) has been a cornerstone of Central Florida’s arts scene since its founding in 1975 and incorporation in 1976. Granted 501(c)(3) status in 1977, the OSO has grown into a trusted cultural institution that proudly shares its music with Ocala and beyond. For decades, the long-time home of the OSO has been the Reilly Arts Center in Ocala, a venue the orchestra helps manage and nurture alongside its community partners.

Led by Music Director and Conductor Matthew Wardell, who is now in his 15th year guiding the ensemble, the OSO offers a rich blend of classical masterworks, engaging pops programs, and innovative chamber music through the new Music Box series.
