Ohrbooten emerged from Berlin in 2003, carving out a unique space in the German music scene with Gyp-Hop – a lively fusion of reggae, ragga, hip‑hop, ska and diverse world-music influences. Over the years, they’ve become known for energetic live shows, communal anthems, and collaborations that celebrate cultural exchange. Their work has earned recognition, including the Ruth – Der deutsche Weltmusikpreis in 2006, and multiple festival appearances across major European stages.
