The Old Lyme Town Band (OLTB) brings a long-standing tradition of community music to coastal Connecticut. Originally formed between 1886 and 1910, the ensemble re-formed in 1975 and re-established around the Bicentennial in 1976. With more than 50 dedicated musicians under the baton of conductor Richard Chiappetta, OLTB crafts vibrant programs that span movie medleys, traditional marches, showtune favorites, and authentic Americana.
