Omaha Under The Radar is more than a festival; it’s a dynamic showcase of experimental and contemporary performance right in the heart of Omaha. Founded by Amanda DeBoer Bartlett and Thom Sibbitt, the project aims to highlight innovative work from local and national artists across music, dance, theatre, and visual/interactive formats. Since its inception in 2014, the festival has partnered with a network of venues around the city to present bold, boundary-pushing performances in spaces like House of Loom, KANEKO, Bancroft Street Market, The Slowdown, UNO, Joslyn Art Museum, Millwork Commons, The Jewell, and the Jewish Community Center. Fans appreciate accessible options, including pay-what-you-can pricing and day/weekend passes, with some events such as Joslyn’s opening night offered free and open to the public.
