Opera Naples is a nonprofit opera company proudly rooted in Naples, Florida, with a permanent home at the Wang Opera Center. Since its founding in 2005, the company has built a reputation for engaging, accessible performances and community-focused artistry. Under the artistic leadership of Ramón Tebar since 2014 and with executive leadership refined in 2024 by Melanie Kalnins, Opera Naples continues to grow while honoring its mission to bring world-class opera to the Gulf Coast.

Located in the scenic city of Naples, Opera Naples blends intimate productions with outdoor festival programming, preserving the grandeur of opera while inviting new audiences to experience it in a welcoming setting.

Key programs include Festival Under the Stars in Cambier Park, a signature outdoor winter opera festival that draws audiences from across Southwest Florida. The 2025 edition featured multiple productions from February 27 to March 16, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanded programming and audience engagement. Opera Naples also collaborates with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation for an international voice competition and academy, offering a professional development track for young singers. This year marks Opera Naples’ 20th anniversary season, celebrating two decades of artistic excellence and community impact.
