The Orchestre Symphonique des Jeunes de Joliette (OSJJ) is a cornerstone of classical music education in Lanaudière, founded in 1970 by Father Rolland Brunelle. Today, the organization brings together three ensembles—Petits violons Rolland-Brunelle, La Relève, and L’OSJJ—made up of approximately 80 to 110 young musicians aged 7 to 25. OSJJ nurtures musical excellence through rigorous training, ensemble performance, and community concerts, bridging formative study with professional-level repertoire.
