About the team and its leadership: Head coach Melyssa Lombardi enters her eighth season (2025) at the helm and earned the 2025 Big Ten Coach of the Year designation for guiding the Ducks to the top of the conference during the regular season. The Ducks earned the Big Ten regular-season championship in 2025, hosted the NCAA Eugene Regional, and made a return appearance at the Women’s College World Series in 2025, marking the program’s first WCWS appearance since 2018.
