Founded in 2014 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Pacific Harp Project is a dynamic ensemble led by harpist Megan Bledsoe Ward with a core lineup that includes Noel Okimoto on vibraphone, Jon Hawes on bass, and Allan Ward on drums. The group fuses classical harp repertoire with improvisation, jazz, and global influences to create a dreamy, jazz-forward sound that resonates with listeners seeking expressive, accessible instrumental music.

The project debuted with a self-titled album in December 2015, which earned the 2016 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Instrumental Album of the Year. Their 2019 follow-up, Play, features notable guests Kenny Endo (taiko) and Jamie Jordan (vocals), expanding the ensemble’s sonic palette while staying true to its live, in-the-moment spirit.
