Passerine is a collaborative folk-roots project formed in 2009 by Carmela Pedicini and David Brain, with later contributions from Sara Stovall (violin/vocals) and Doug Conroy (bass/vocals). The band blends modern folk, progressive bluegrass, and Americana into what they self-describe as Ameri-Kinda-Grass — inviting listeners into thoughtful storytelling, intricate string work, and intimate live performances.
