Origin & Style: Pescadores emerged from Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, blending Norteño sax with accordion-driven melodies. This sound captures the regional heartland of northern Mexico while appealing to broad audiences that love melodic horn lines and storytelling lyrics.
Label & Milestones: Signed to Azteca Records in 2012, they’ve released several projects under the label, including the 2024 release Entre Compas y Canciones and the 2023 Como un Meteorito.
Awards & Recognition: A Latin Grammy nomination in 2010 for Encuentro Musical, and a 2016 star award at the Palacio Municipal de Ojinaga, illustrating a sustained presence in the regional and national music scenes.
