Peter Bolland is a California-based Americana singer-songwriter and long-time professor of philosophy and humanities at Southwestern College. Born in West Paterson, New Jersey, and raised in California, he moved to San Diego in 1987, where he has since blended intimate storytelling with guitar-driven arrangements. Bolland co-founded The Coyote Problem in 2002 and has earned acclaim for his discography, including Best Americana Album wins at the San Diego Music Awards for Wire (2005) and California (2007). His solo work, Two Pines (2014), continues to showcase his rooted sensibilities in the Americana/alt-country landscape.
