The project centers on Ian Carpenter (guitar/vocals), Yanek Che (bass), and Rachel Fischer (drums), delivering a sound that ebbs and flows like a tide and lingers in the air long after the last note fades. In 2024, they launched the Bonfire Secrets label release, a UK vinyl highlight via Shore Dive Records, and have since continued releasing music—often self-released—through various platforms. Their 2024-2025 catalog includes First Light, Chimera, Spiraling, and Bonfire Secrets, with Echoes Unknown arriving in October 2025 and a string of singles leading up to it. Phantom Wave actively tours, with 2025 Brooklyn shows at Main Drag Music and Hart Bar reinforcing their live, textural dream-pop presence.
