Plastilina Mosh is a cornerstone of Mexican alternative music, formed in 1997 by Jonás González and Alejandro Rosso as part of the Avanzada Regia scene. With a knack for blending rock, electronic, and hip-hop influences, they broke through with hits that defined a generation. Their breakthrough single Mr. P. Mosh helped launch the acclaimed album Aquamosh (1998) and peaked at No. 1 on Latin MTV, bringing their sound to a wider audience. Hola Chicuelos (2003) earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, cementing their place in Latin American music history. After a period of new material in the 2020s, Plastilina Mosh returned with Mosh & Mambo (2023) and Conquistador (2025). Their live shows remain a staple across Mexico, with 2025 dates announced for Pepsi Center WTC, La Maraka, House of Vans CDMX, and Showcenter Monterrey.
