Formed in Minneapolis by Christian Nelson and Eddie Chisham, Present Company expanded to include Seth Lemmon on bass and Berin Joseph on drums, creating a dynamic indie rock outfit known for its dramatic live shows and textured soundscapes. Their music blends indie rock with hints of post-punk and shoegaze, delivering immersive performances that have earned a dedicated following in the Midwest and beyond.

After releasing their debut album Talking on Couches in 2020 under Just Married LLC, the band continued to grow, releasing a self-titled LP Present Company in 2022. The album release shows—documented with performances like the Sept 9, 2022 show at The Entry—helped solidify their presence in the indie scene. Notably, the self-titled record reached the top 100 on the NACC radio chart, signaling strong college and independent airplay across North America.

Known for its highly dramatized live performances, Present Company continues to tour and perform at notable venues such as Turf Club in Saint Paul and The Castle in Fairfield, Connecticut.
