Project Dance is a community-driven, nonprofit organization founded in 2003 by Cheryl Cutlip in response to post-9/11 healing efforts in New York City. What started as a collective of dancers in open-air environments has grown into a global movement with three main program areas: Project Dance World Tour events, The Carolina Snowbelles (a precision dance troupe), and Camp of the Arts. Headquartered in Boone, North Carolina, Project Dance operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-2098775) with a footprint spanning more than 30 cities worldwide.
