PSO Principal Winds is the wind department of the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, renowned for intimate, engaging classical chamber music for winds. Typically performing as a wind quintet or sextet, the group has featured a rotating lineup that includes Aubrie Dionne on flute, Sarah Krebs on oboe, John Ferraro on clarinet, Melissa Grady on bassoon, and Orlando Pandolfi on horn, with substitutes such as Santiago Baena Florez and Angela DiBartolomeo filling in as needed. In 2025, they joined the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts Arts Education Artist Roster, underscoring their commitment to artistry and education. The ensemble emphasizes classical wind repertoire, including works like Poulenc Sextet, Blumer Sextet, and Barber Quintet, and pursues an active outreach schedule across the Seacoast region.
