The Queens College Choral Society (QCCS) is a storied choral ensemble based in Flushing, New York, rooted in a tradition dating back to 1941. Under the direction of James John, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at Queens College, the choir regularly performs two major annual concerts with orchestra—one in December and one in May—sharing the stage with distinguished soloists and orchestras. QCCS also serves as a dynamic showcase for the rich choral repertoire, from classical masterworks to modern premieres.
