RACE Dance Tickets

RACE Dance is a dynamic, mission-driven dance company founded in 2009 by Hui Cha Poos in Oklahoma City. Short for Radical Application of Creative Energy (R.A.C.E.), the company blends hip hop, contemporary, and jazz into a versatile repertoire that showcases technical skill, expressive storytelling, and community engagement. RACE aims to ignite social awareness and change through performance, education, and outreach, making dance accessible and meaningful for audiences of all ages.

Beyond the stage, RACE operates the RACE the Space studio in Oklahoma City, offering community classes and programs that invite aspiring dancers from local schools and neighborhoods to engage with the art form. The company draws on partnerships with Oklahoma City Public Schools and local programs to involve youth in Nutcracker productions and other performances, fostering opportunity and talent within the community.
