Rafael Grigorian Ballet (RGBT) is a premier classical ballet company led by Master Rafael Grigorian, a renowned figure in the world of dance. Trained at the Baku Choreographic Institute and the Kirov Ballet School, Grigorian has served as Premier/Principal dancer with the Akhundov Theatre in Baku and has toured with the Bolshoi and Kirov companies. In 1991, he opened the Rafael Grigorian School of Classical Ballet in Elmira, NY, which expanded to the greater Binghamton area in 1998. RGBT was founded as a non-profit company in 1994 and today serves as the resident company of the Clemens Center in Elmira, performing a diverse repertoire that includes Cinderella, Romeo & Juliet, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Paquita, and more.

As a performer, choreographer, and educator, Master Grigorian has earned prestigious honors, including Honored Artist of Azerbaijan and Laureate of the USSR State Prize. The company blends tradition with contemporary storytelling, inviting audiences of all ages to experience the beauty and discipline of classical ballet.
